Mystery Case Files
For those who enjoy hide-and-seek puzzle games, I saw some Mystery Case Files jewel CDs at Wal-Mart for less than $10 (normally each game in the series runs around $20). I'd played demos and enjoyed them so I didn't hesitate to buy MCF: Prime Suspects and made it through the first three levels so far.

I was in Best Buy yesterday, and I saw "KONAMI'S BEST" edition copies of Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow for the DS for $9.99
apiece. These weren't like, markdown stickers or damaged merchandise either. Worth taking a look at.
Also, this was a one-store deal so I wasn't gonna make a post about it, but since I'm posting anyway...like six weeks ago, I was in Target. Now, Target does something most electronics retailers know they'd be batshit to do: they put games on clearance when they want to get rid of them. Picked up a copy of FF1&2 for the GBA for $10, and a copy of XML2 for the GCN for /$5/. I've seen nifty deals like this in back corners in this place on other occassions, too, so it's worth buzzing by whenever you're aroudn.

Elite Beat Agents (available Tuesday)For those who need a little extra time (Circuit City):

so.. i ordered a sillicone skin for my ds off ebay..
only to find out when it got here that it's for a ds lite.
which i dont have.
and which the auction didn't state...
so.. i'm selling it.
brand new.. only looked at..
cause i could tell immediatly that it wasn't going to fit.http://img.twigtrick.com/ebay/images/ux_a06072600ux0019_ux_c.jpg
that's basically what it looked like..
that's the pic from the auction.
only in the back.. where the two parts connect, there is two pieces of silicone instead of the big sheet looking part with the holes cut out.
i have plenty of feedback in bod_mod_trade..
and i have paypal.

Xbox 360 20gb HD @ Sears for $14.99!
Sorry I didn't get to post this one earlier in the week. According to Sears' ad (here in Ohio at least), they have the 20gb hard drive for a measly $15. The hard drive is the big limiting factor in buying the Core System at $299. If you don't care about headsets and wireless controllers you can get a pretty nice 360 package for $315. I was going to do just that myself but I found a better deal online so I didn't ever get to Sears to confirm if they would honor the ad (because it's possible it's a typo). Target: Taiko Drum Master
So I'm at Target last night and I check out the Electronics section. They have two copies of Taiko Drum Master
(the complete set with the drum controller) and last I checked they were $29.99. I didn't see a price anywhere, so I asked the guy at the Electronics counter to scan it.$9.99!!!
So if you can find a Target that still has any of this game in stock, apparently they're trying to liquidate them for 10 bucks! I bought both copies so I'd have two drum controllers and spent less than if I'd bought a Greatest Hits game!

Selling my DS.
It's a sad thing to say, but i'm selling my DS along with several games. I just never have the time to play anymore and there's no point in such a nice DS sitting around and collecting dust. I figured I would let you all know, so that if anyone has a sibling or friend that was looking for a cheap DS (with some extra games), perhaps you all could pass the word around. It's one of the MarioKart special edition red ones, and it's in great condition with spotless/scratchless screens and just a few minor scratches to the casing.

Perfect Dark Zero
Project Gotham Racing 3
All three XBox 360 titles are $29.99 this week at Wherehouse Music, and also I believe at Coconuts Music or whatever (i dont have a coconuts near me, but i think they are similar in store design).
I took the sales ad from the paper into Best Buy and they price matched it.
I was trying to find a link to the sale on their website, but no dice. I saw the ad in the Sunday paper, hopefully those who are interested can find a physical ad if they don't live near a Wherehouse location.
Actually, all these ( http://www.twec.com/corpsite/stores/
) places have the sale, and its IN STORE ONLY.

Circuit City is having a $9.99 clearance sale on a TON of fairly new titles for XBox, GBA, DS, PS2, PSP and GameCube. Also a couple XBox 360 titles are priced at $29.99 or less.
They are sold out online, but if you go to their site and check out their weekly ad, you can see what they have to offer. I can't directly link to that page because you have to enter a zip code.
Anyway, an example of what they have is that i picked up 'From Russia with Love', 'Marc Ecko's Getting Up' and 'Blitz : The League' today in that sale. the new Matrix game is in there, the 50 Cent game, some Dragonball Z game, Half-Life 2 and others.
Good deals, if you can find them locally.
Status : Confirmed
Expires : While Supplies Last
Credit : My own damn self i guess.

Free web games - cute site
Amazingly cute and simple gameshttp://www.ferryhalim.com/orisinal/
This site has beautifully artistic web games. Cute is not enough to cover it. Play as:
-a dog running jumping over balls through the seasons (summer has a sailor cap, winter a scarf)
-a little girl blowing up bubblegum bubbles to scare ladybugs
-a bottle tied to a balloon floating on the wind collecting flowers
-Cupid shooting arrows at floating hearts
-popping balloons with piglets on them to stack the pigs in a column
-a seagull diving for fish
-a panda acrobatically romping through a bamboo forest
and around fifty other timewasters.
Seriously, small 100-300k files that play in your browser. These games are adorable! Current Mood: jubilant

New Super Mario Bros. Cheap. Fast.
It seems like some of you already got your hands on New Super Mario Bros. but Circuit City has a deal for the rest of us. According to their Sunday ads they'll have the game in tomorrow (Tuesday 5/16) after 5pm and on sale at $27.99!

Latest Cheap Game Finds
So I've found quite a few games lately on good deals, namely at Blockbuster. It seems like Game Rush stores keep adding new titles to their 50% Clearance Sale. I hadn't seen Crimson Skies or Dead or Alive Ultimate on the table since the deal started but I found both for $10 each! Any time I can find a double disc title for less than $20, I'm happy.
Best Buy seems to be expanding their clearinghouse deals also and I found Rise of the Kisai (the sequel to Mark of Kri) for $4.50. Rumble Roses was also at $10 but I didn't bother.
This last one isn't really a deal but the new Rampage: Total Destruction came out this past week for PS2 and GameCube. It's only $20 and it's been soooo long since I last Rampaged as a giant mutant animal that I'm almost willing to forgive the still-too-simple-for-anything-but-an-arc
ade-game gameplay and the iffy hit detection. It's fun and brainless destruction in 2-player co-op at least. Current Mood: accomplished
